    The Chalet’s interior welcomes you with a modern atmosphere. You will find 60 m2 of convinience and a cozy patio. The facilities are particularly family friendly.

    Citizens pass included

    During the summer season, you can use any mountain lift for free. The free travel card is included in the rent of the Chalet Heubode. All year round, the card allows you free public transport in the valley.

Warm welcome with high altitude scenery

1975 we visited Saas-Fee for the first time. It was love at first encounter. This picturesque car-free village embrassed by Switzerland’s highest peaks. Come and explore this „perle of the alps“ yourself.

It started as a daydream about an own “getaway” chalet in this “perle of the alps”. Then we found in 2014 the Chalet Heubode - at that time an unused old hay barn, built in 1895. By 2018, we turned this old hay barn into a second home.

Fully rebuilt in the inside, it hasn‘t lost any of its charm on the outside. The rebuilding has combined all provisions for protection of heritage buildings and established a second home with all comfort facilities and a modern interior.

  • Located near the village center and car park

    The chalet is located near the center at a small and very quite side street. The car-park, the bus station and grocery stores are less than 300 meters away. The next mountain lift is only at 500 meters distance and the ski shuttle bus stops nearly in front of the chalet.

  • Small children or even twins? This chalet has all you need.

    From baby beds to sand box to stairs safty gate, this is all available and real life tested by our grand children.

  • Environment friendly

    The chalet complies with high insulation standards, the windows are tripple-glazed. Heating and boiler are environment friendly (heat pumps). The choice of the construction material also focused on environmental integrity and sustainability.
